It's finally Summer and hubby and I are taking full advantage. We've planned out a few weekend getaways so we can do our best at extending our Summer as long as possible before our Fall cruise with Carnival to the Bahamas (we're hype!), Anyway this Summer I have vowed to live every part of my life in a swimsuit or maxi dress and so far with 2 trips down and 2 more to go id say Unlike my New Years resolution thats been about the only vow I've stuck with. 4th July weekend booked a last minute trip and as soon of you may know that booking last minute to a beach front hotel/ motel doesnt leave the fanciest of the bunch available but as long as they're clean (I'm that lady who brings her own sheets and covers when traveling) we can pretty much deal with it, I mean what creates more memories than a pool in the parking lot!, so we packed up and headed to Myrtle Beach, SC, which is about 3.5 hours from Charlotte, NC we ate, got sand between our butts, slept, swam, ATE AGAIN, Oh had hubby found a Pier that he could finally fish from, we ate funnel cake with strawberries, chocolate, and powdered sugar , deep fried Oreos, all the crab legs we could eat, breakfast and Soul food buffets and we just about ate our weight in candy *insert happy face here* when I say we went straight vacay mode we did just that. This trip was a total success and since we're Friends I wanted to share our holiday getaway and ask where are you and your family/friends going for your Summer vacay this year?? ALSO let me know if tou want to see more than just fashion posts ! SHARE BELOW, until next time! 💋 Swimsuit: Forever21 Note* South Carolina beaches are not the prettiest we've been to but vacation is life! ugh ... THIS MAN CAN GET IT ANYTIME! So... this is what heaven looks like?! *insert praising emoji hands here* Sugar Life, 2016 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 Alright, so I have to explain why I look the way I look here LOL... I had the cutest damn outfit set for this day but because I enjoy being married (after we did everything I wanted todo for the entire 3 days) I told my husband we could do what he LOVES and I can't stand...FISHING!! *Dun dun dun!* and might I add I expected maybe 2hrs max...NOPE, 5!. And because sometimes being fabulous is an uncomfortable situation (REVEALS FASHION SECRETS HERE: we fashion bloggers tend to where some of the "flyest" and most uncomfortable ish and right after we get the right pick we toss it to the side... but I digress) So I left went to the closest novelty store that I could find cheap and comfortable shorts that I could actually fit, and we ended up with these white, shapeless, drawstring shorts for $14.99 that came above my knee that suprisingly fit my size 18 frame but quickly became more and more unflattering as the day went on and by 10PM started looking like a squirt LOL. ...and $20 later we got what we came for! 2nd street pier, 110 N Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 $2 to walk the Pier, $10 to fish 7AM-Midnight with free parking. Incase you wanted to know what he kept catching.... Toad fish, 3 to be exact...ugh! (No we didn't eat this) but he loves doing it so... 'whateva' Trust me when I say , There's a real life story being told here ! Lol Magnolias at 26th, 2605 N Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 I'd rate it a solid 4 stars. I had their strawberry shortcake & hubby had the peach cobbler (not pictured) which was DELICIOUS too. Before we leave SC we always grab a few local "delicacies"
